GARTEL INDIA 2005 My trip to INDIA was an absolute adventure. I had a true desire to photograph and document the Tsunami disaster areas. What I saw discovered throughout the country was truly life altering. INDIA is a country so rich in spirituality, but confronting poverty and survival on a daily basis. Their Temples are magnificent and are indeed,true treasures of the world. The INDIA culture is perhaps one of the oldest on the planet. Living in unsanitary conditions these people deserve proper medical care and basic necessities. It is my hopes and goals to enlighten the plight of these people to the rest of the world. The Tsunami put a spotlight on this part of the world. Now it is our human dignity to do something for these loving people. GARTEL |
